Nauvoo Mill was started in 1955 by Harold Smith. He formulated the recipes that are still used today. Through the years different family members operated it until 1984 when Paul & Carol Brown purchased the business and renamed it The Nauvoo Mill & Bakery and moved it uptown to its present location. Our breads and rolls are made entirely from scratch, using our stone ground flour, fresh eggs and nature's pure honey. In 1996, we needed room to grow and built a new building with seating for 40. We added a deli sandwich line, which features lean meats on our fresh baked breads. Check out our menu!
